Job Overview

The Strategic Procurement Analyst will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for critical goods and services required by Shell’s oil & gas projects in Somalia. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the analyst will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and local regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for high‑value commodities and services.
  • Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and risk assessments to inform procurement decisions.
  • Lead negotiation processes, draft contracts, and manage supplier performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.

Salary

The annual compensation package ranges from 5,000,000 to 8,000,000 SSP, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
