Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oceanographer to lead our marine research initiatives in the Kismayo region. This role is pivotal in understanding the complex interactions between ocean currents, salinity, and temperature in the Somali coastal waters. The successful candidate will design and implement large-scale oceanographic surveys, manage advanced sensor arrays, and lead a team of junior researchers.
