Job Overview

The Senior Architectural Designer will play a pivotal role in our Kismayo operations, leading the design phase for large-scale infrastructure and commercial projects. This role requires a visionary professional who can translate complex client requirements into functional, aesthetic, and sustainable architectural designs. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire design lifecycle, from initial concept and schematic design to detailed construction documentation and site inspections. This position is critical for our regional growth and offers significant influence over the urban landscape of the region.

As a senior member of the design team, you will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that all designs are technically feasible and compliant with local and international building codes. Key Responsibilities

Education

A Master of Architecture or a highly advanced professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is mandatory. Professional licensure or certification is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a proven track record of managing large-scale commercial or public infrastructure projects. Experience working in emerging markets or complex regulatory environments is a significant advantage.

Salary
