Job Overview
The Risk Management Analyst will support the Risk Management Department by monitoring credit, market, and operational risks for the Garowe branch. This role involves preparing risk reports, assisting in policy development, and collaborating with Treasury and Credit teams to ensure compliance with Basel III and local regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily risk indicators and flag potential issues.
- Prepare concise risk assessment reports for senior management.
- Assist in updating risk policies to meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Treasury and Credit teams on risk‑related analyses.
- Support internal audit by providing required documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel and data‑analysis tools.
- Knowledge of credit, market, and operational risk concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as FRM or CFA are a plus.
Experience
2‑4 years of experience in risk analysis, credit assessment, or a similar role within banking or financial services.
Salary
The role offers a competitive salary of SSP 1,500,000 to SSP 2,500,000 per month, with performance‑based bonuses and annual reviews.
