As a Payments Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth processing of transactions, monitoring system performance, and supporting the implementation of new payment products. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily transaction volumes, identify anomalies, and resolve processing issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to onboard new merchants and financial institutions.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis of payment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare operational performance reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Support compliance initiatives, including AML and KYC requirements.
  • Assist in the rollout of new Visa payment products and services in the Somali market.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems and industry standards (ISO 8583, PCI DSS).
  • Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team environment.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as Certified Payments Professional (CPP) are a plus.

Experience

2‑4 years of experience in payments operations, transaction monitoring, or financial services is essential. Prior exposure to emerging market environments will be advantageous.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 1,200,000 SSP to 1,800,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
