Job Overview
The E‑commerce Operations Manager will lead the end‑to‑end fulfillment process for Amazon’s marketplace in Somalia, ensuring seamless order processing, inventory management, and last‑mile delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute operational strategies that support rapid growth of Amazon’s marketplace in Somalia.
- Manage daily order fulfillment, ensuring on‑time delivery and high accuracy rates.
- Coordinate with local logistics providers, customs authorities, and warehouse partners to optimize the supply chain.
- Implement performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor key KPIs such as order cycle time, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead a team of fulfillment specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
- Identify process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Collaborate with the technology team to integrate automation tools, inventory management systems, and data analytics platforms.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Somali is a plus.
- Deep understanding of e‑commerce logistics, warehousing, and last‑mile delivery.
- Experience with ERP or WMS platforms and familiarity with Amazon’s Seller Central.

Education
