Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of climate resilience and livelihoods projects across target regions. • Coordinate resilience-building interventions including drought mitigation, income generation, natural resource management, and agricultural support. • Manage donor-funded projects in compliance with organizational and donor requirements. • Supervise project teams, field officers, and implementing partners to ensure timely delivery of activities. • Develop work plans, budgets, procurement plans, and progress reports. • Strengthen community resilience through climate-smart agriculture, vocational skills, and livelihood diversification initiatives. • Coordinate with local authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and community leaders to enhance program impact. • Conduct field monitoring visits and provide technical guidance to project staff. • Ensure accountability, protection, gender inclusion, and safeguarding standards are integrated into all activities. • Prepare high-quality donor reports, assessments, and program updates. Key Achievements: • Successfully managed multi-sector resilience projects benefiting vulnerable drought affected communities. • Improved household livelihood opportunities through vocational training and cash-for work activities. • Strengthened local community adaptation capacities to climate-related shocks.
Duties and Responsibilities The SHF Supervisor‘s core responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Mission 1: Implement the Cash Grant project Ensure the project implementation as defined by the FSL Program Manager Provide weekly and monthly activity plans and ensure its full implementation Define implementation modalities (identification and registration of beneficiaries, distribution, monitoring, etc.); Ensure beneficiaries registration and the establishment of beneficiaries registers Identify the needs of the most vulnerable populations; Apply all the follow-up tools and project monitoring Ensure the project progress and write up daily report to the FS Program Manager Suggest solution or improvement for a better project run; Coordinate activities and increase the local authorities and other stakeholders awareness on ACF program; Act as a link between the different food security actors and inform them of the outcome of the evaluation. Represent the organization at cluster/ coordination meetings within the project area/district In liaison with the VRCs, ensure communities are well aware of the ACF activities, the selection of the Supervise the beneficiary registration of drought-affected households in the identified villages.
