Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive policy analysis on governance, economic development, and climate resilience in Somalia.
• Develop and draft high‑quality programme proposals, concept notes, and logical frameworks aligned with donor requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects, preparing progress reports and impact assessments for senior management and partners.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, round‑tables, and consultations with government officials, NGOs, and private sector representatives.
• Provide technical advice and capacity‑building support to national ministries and local institutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of UNDP policies, donor regulations, and Somalia’s development agenda.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Somali is highly desirable.

Education
