Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mining Geotechnical Specialist to join our exploration and extraction team in Burao. This role is critical to the stability and safety of our mining operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations and site characterizations to assess rock mass quality.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive ground control management plans for open-pit and underground operations.
  • Perform numerical modeling to predict slope stability and rock mass behavior under various loading conditions.
  • Monitor ground movement using advanced instrumentation and interpret data to prevent failures.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in geotechnical modeling software such as Rocscience or Itasca.

  • High-level technical reporting and communication skills in English.

Education

Experience
