Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead our subsurface investigation and soil mechanics teams in Baidoa. This role is critical to the success of our upcoming infrastructure developments in the region. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Expertise in geotechnical software such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, or gINT.
• Advanced knowledge of international geotechnical standards and Eurocode/ASTM protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities regarding complex soil behaviors.
• Excellent technical writing skills for producing comprehensive engineering reports.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a high-pressure environment.

Education

A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. A PhD is highly preferred for this senior-level position.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering, specifically within large-scale infrastructure or heavy civil projects. Proven track record in managing complex site investigations and foundation design is essential.

Salary
