Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive geotechnical site investigations, including borehole logging and in-situ testing.
• Perform complex calculations for slope stability, soil bearing capacity, and settlement analysis.
• Develop detailed geotechnical design reports and recommendations for various foundation types.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate geotechnical data into structural models.
• Supervise field technicians during soil sampling and testing procedures.
• Review and approve geotechnical specifications for procurement and construction phases.
• Mitigate geological risks through advanced predictive modeling and risk assessment.

Required Skills

• Expertise in geotechnical software such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, or gINT.

Education

A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering is mandatory. A PhD in a related field is highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic background in soil mechanics and structural geology.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering is required.
