Job Overview

The Audit Senior Manager will lead audit engagements for a range of clients, ensuring high‑quality financial reporting and compliance with international standards. Reporting to the Audit Director, you will manage teams, develop audit strategies, and maintain strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and supervise audit engagements for corporate, financial institution and public sector clients.
  • Lead audit teams of up to 10 professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback and technical guidance.
  • Develop audit methodologies that align with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings, risk assessments and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with tax and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging risks.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in audit software (e.g., KPMG Clara, IDEA) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on delivering value‑added insights.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred and demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of the profession.

Experience

Applicants must possess at least ten years of progressive audit experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in the Somali market or with regional clients is advantageous.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 12,000,000 to 18,000,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and benefits are included.
