Job Overview
The Digital Banking Transformation Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of Barclays’ digital banking roadmap in Somalia. Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy, the role will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that digital solutions align with regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital banking strategy that supports Barclays’ growth objectives in Somalia.
- Lead the implementation of mobile banking apps, online account opening, digital payments, and AI‑driven customer service tools.
- Collaborate with IT, risk, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of new digital products.
- Manage relationships with fintech partners, technology vendors, and local regulators to guarantee compliance and innovation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data analytics to continuously improve digital channels.
- Drive change management initiatives, including staff training and customer education programs.
- Prepare detailed business cases, budgets, and timelines for digital projects.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are embedded in all digital solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of digital banking platforms, fintech ecosystems, and emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI.
- Proven project management experience, preferably with Agile methodologies.

Education

Minimum of eight years of experience in digital banking, fintech product development, or related financial services roles. Prior experience leading large‑scale digital transformation projects in emerging markets is preferred.
Salary
The role offers a competitive salary range of 12,000,000 to 20,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based bonuses.
