Job Overview

The Airport Operations Manager will oversee all operational aspects of Qatar Airways’ hub at Marka Airport, ensuring seamless coordination between ground handling, security, passenger services, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily airport operations, including check‑in, boarding, baggage handling, and cargo services.
• Ensure compliance with Somali civil aviation regulations and international safety standards.
• Coordinate with security teams to maintain a secure environment for passengers and staff.
• Monitor and improve turnaround times to meet airline performance targets.
• Manage relationships with ground service providers, vendors, and airport authorities.
• Develop and implement operational SOPs, emergency response plans, and quality control measures.

Education

Experience

Applicants must have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in airport operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in a multicultural environment and familiarity with Somali aviation regulations will be considered an asset.

Salary
