Job Overview

As a Supply Chain Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across Maersk’s supply chain operations in Somalia. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies, ensuring the continuity and resilience of logistics services. This position is essential for safeguarding Maersk’s reputation and delivering reliable services to clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor real‑time data and market trends to anticipate potential disruptions.
  • Collaborate with local partners, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Support the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment tools and supply chain management software.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPM, CSCP, or CRISC are advantageous.

Experience

3‑5 years of experience in supply chain risk analysis, logistics, or related fields, preferably within an international logistics company or a multinational corporation operating in emerging markets.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 8,500,000 SSP to 11,500,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
