Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Health Systems Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment of our advanced healthcare technology solutions in Burao and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of digital health systems including requirements analysis, system configuration, and deployment
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments with healthcare facilities to identify technology gaps and implementation requirements
- Develop and execute detailed project plans for digital health system rollouts, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Provide expert training and capacity building for healthcare staff on system usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure
- Monitor system performance post-implementation and provide ongoing technical support and optimization
- Develop comprehensive documentation including user manuals, technical specifications, and implementation reports
- Collaborate with government health authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with national healthcare standards

- Expert knowledge of healthcare information systems and electronic medical records platforms

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field required. Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration preferred. Professional certifications in healthcare IT (such as CPHIMS) or project management (PMP) are highly desirable. Continuous learning and professional development in emerging healthcare technologies are encouraged and supported.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare technology implementation, with at least 3 years focused on digital health systems in developing contexts. Proven track record of successfully implementing EHR systems, hospital management systems, or other healthcare IT solutions. Experience working in multicultural environments and managing complex stakeholder relationships. Previous experience in Somalia or similar healthcare settings is advantageous but not required.
