Job Overview
The Somali Company is inviting applications for the position of Office Secretary / Tender Documentation Assistant. The selected candidate will support daily administrative operations and assist in preparing and managing tender documentation. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, along with the ability to handle office tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Somali Company is a fully registered construction, solar, logistics, and general contracting company based in, Somali Region, with over 15 years of experience. The company specializes in building construction, civil engineering, solar system installation, logistics services, hardware supply, infrastructure development, and humanitarian project support. It has collaborated with major international organizations such as UNICEF, FAO, World Food Programme, Norwegian Refugee Council, CARE, International Organization for Migration, World Vision, Save the Children, and ACTED.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and compile tender documents; write, edit, and organize company documents; respond to company emails professionally; maintain and organize office files and records; support daily administrative and clerical tasks; assist in preparing reports and official correspondence; ensure proper documentation and filing for procurement and tender-related activities.
Educational Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Office Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English (written and spoken); fluency in Amharic (written and spoken); knowledge of Somali language is an added advantage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in email communication and internet usage; ability to prepare professional tender documents; good organizational and documentation skills; understanding of clerical and secretarial principles; strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
Experience Required
Previous work experience in office administration or tender documentation is mandatory; candidates must provide official experience letters and reference contacts.
Additional Requirements
