Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Environmental Conservation Manager to join our team in Hafun, Somalia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our conservation efforts in the region, working closely with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective conservation strategies. The role will also involve managing a team of conservationists and coordinating with other departments to ensure the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement conservation strategies in collaboration with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders
- Lead a team of conservationists and provide guidance and support to ensure the success of our projects
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective project implementation and monitoring
- Develop and manage budgets for conservation projects
- Build and maintain relationships with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Conservation or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in environmental conservation, with a focus on community engagement and project management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
