Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Environmental Conservation Manager to join our team in Hafun, Somalia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our conservation efforts in the region, working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective conservation strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead conservation efforts in the Hafun region, working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement effective conservation strategies, including habitat restoration and species conservation
  • Conduct fieldwork, including surveys and monitoring of wildlife populations
  • Analyze data and develop reports to inform conservation decisions
  • Collaborate with other conservation organizations and government agencies to advance our shared goals

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Conservation or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in environmental conservation, including leadership and management roles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
