Job Overview

The Senior Hospitality Revenue Manager will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our Kismayo operations. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic pricing and inventory management plans to maximize revenue across all distribution channels. You will analyze market trends, competitor activities, and historical data to forecast demand and optimize room rates and ancillary revenue streams. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR and GOPPAR.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify market trends, seasonal fluctuations, and competitor pricing shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align promotional activities with revenue goals.
  • Manage distribution channels including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking engines to ensure optimal inventory availability.
  • Provide regular, detailed revenue forecasts and performance reports to the General Manager and regional leadership.
  • Monitor market demand and adjust pricing strategies dynamically to capture maximum value.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in revenue management software and Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate data into actionable business plans.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality market dynamics in the East African region.

Education

A Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a closely related field is required. A strong academic background in quantitative analysis is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in revenue management or hospitality finance, preferably within a luxury hotel brand. Proven track record of increasing profitability and managing complex pricing structures is essential.

Salary
