Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join our Borama operations. This role is critical to our regional success, as you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, optimizing procurement workflows, and ensuring that all materials and services are acquired at the best possible value without compromising quality or timelines. You will work closely with various departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet regional operational requirements.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with local and international suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of procured goods.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a large-scale logistics or manufacturing environment. Experience working in the Somali market is a significant advantage.
Salary
