Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement freight optimization strategies for maritime cargo routes.
  • Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with port authorities and shipping companies to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations.
  • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions caused by geopolitical or environmental factors.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and emissions to align with sustainability goals.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in maritime logistics software (e.g., SAP Logistics, TradeLens).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations (SOLAS, ISPS Code).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Somali and English.

Education

Experience

Salary

1,200,000 – 1,800,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and performance.
