Job Overview
The Hydraulic Systems Specialist will play a critical role in our technical operations in Las Anod. This position is designed for a highly skilled engineer capable of diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing complex hydraulic circuits within heavy machinery. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic testing on high-pressure hydraulic systems to identify leaks, pressure drops, or component failures.
- Oversee the installation and calibration of hydraulic pumps, valves, and cylinders in heavy construction equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime in the field.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize fluid power systems for improved energy efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians on hydraulic safety and repair protocols.
- Maintain detailed service logs and technical documentation for all hydraulic system interventions.
Required Skills
- Expertise in reading and interpreting complex hydraulic schematics and technical blueprints.
- Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic tools, including pressure gauges and flow meters.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex fluid power malfunctions.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial safety standards and high-pressure system protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with site managers and clients.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Candidates with advanced certifications in hydraulic systems design or maintenance will be given preference.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy industrial hydraulic systems is required. Proven experience working with large-scale earthmoving or mining equipment is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of successful troubleshooting in remote or challenging environments.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 6,200,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s specific expertise and technical certifications.
