Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic workcells tailored to client specifications, ensuring optimal throughput and reliability.
• Program and configure industrial robots using ABB’s RAPID language and integrate them with PLC and SCADA systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost‑benefit analyses for automation projects.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to create custom end‑effectors and tooling solutions.
• Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, and performance validation of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing rapid resolution to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
• Provide technical training and support to client personnel and ABB field service teams.
• Stay abreast of emerging robotics technologies and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with international safety standards such as ISO 10218 and local regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in robot programming (RAPID, KRL, or equivalent) and motion control.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, kinematics, and automation hardware.
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
