Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Systems Specialist to join our growing technical team in Las Anod. This role is critical for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of automated control systems within our manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying complex automation architectures that integrate hardware and software to streamline production processes. This position requires a deep understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and industrial communication protocols. As we continue to expand our operations, this role will play a pivotal part in our digital transformation journey, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are as efficient and reliable as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission advanced automation control systems including PLCs and SCADA.
- Perform regular diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of automated machinery to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize system performance and increase throughput.
- Implement cybersecurity protocols for industrial control systems to protect critical infrastructure.
- Develop technical documentation for system configurations, maintenance schedules, and operational procedures.
- Monitor real-time data to identify potential system failures before they occur.
Required Skills
- Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider) and HMI development.
- Strong knowledge of industrial networking protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure situations.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. Professional certifications in automation technologies are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, specifically within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Proven experience in commissioning new automated lines and managing large-scale SCADA integrations is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 7,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical proficiency. This competitive package reflects the specialized nature of the role and the high level of expertise required.
