Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role in our security operations within Afgooye. This position is designed for a highly analytical professional capable of identifying, assessing, and mitigating emerging cyber threats before they impact our clients or internal systems. You will be responsible for monitoring global threat landscapes, analyzing malware samples, and producing actionable intelligence reports. This role is critical for our proactive defense strategy, ensuring that our security posture remains resilient against zero-day exploits and advanced persistent threats (APTs). As part of our growing team, you will contribute to the development of sophisticated detection rules and incident response playbooks. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor global threat intelligence feeds to identify emerging trends and potential vulnerabilities.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of malicious software and suspicious network traffic patterns.
- Develop and implement custom detection signatures for intrusion prevention systems.
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports for executive leadership and technical teams.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to provide context during active security breaches.
- Perform proactive threat hunting exercises across diverse network environments.
- Stay updated on the latest tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in network security protocols and architecture.
- Expertise in using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
- Strong understanding of malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Education
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, or CEH are highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage during the selection process.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a dedicated cybersecurity role is required. Proven experience in threat intelligence, incident response, or security research within a large-scale enterprise environment is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of identifying and neutralizing complex digital threats.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 6,500,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise, certifications, and previous experience in the field.
