Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our specialized security operations team in Baidoa. This role is critical to our mission of proactive defense. You will be responsible for analyzing complex threat landscapes, identifying emerging attack patterns, and providing actionable intelligence to prevent large-scale breaches. As part of our global security network, you will contribute to the protection of critical infrastructure and enterprise data across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document advanced persistent threats (APTs) and emerging malware trends.
- Develop and implement sophisticated detection rules for our cloud-native platform.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to provide real-time intelligence during active breaches.
- Produce high-level intelligence reports for executive leadership and technical stakeholders.
- Conduct deep-dive forensic analysis on intercepted malicious traffic and files.
- Monitor dark web forums and underground communities for emerging threats targeting the region.
Required Skills
- Expertise in malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Deep understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary tactics.
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols and cloud security architectures.
- Exceptional analytical and technical writing capabilities.
Education
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a closely related technical field is required. Candidates with exceptional professional certifications and equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience
A minimum of five years of direct experience in threat intelligence, cyber forensics, or security operations center (SOC) environments is mandatory. Proven experience in handling large-scale security incidents is highly preferred. Candidates should have a track record of identifying complex adversary behaviors.
Salary
The monthly compensation for this role ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 7,500,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical proficiency. This competitive package reflects the high level of specialization required for this position.
