Job Overview
The Brand Activation Manager will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated brand activation campaigns that connect Coca‑Cola’s iconic products with Somali consumers. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will design experiential events, digital activations, and community initiatives that amplify brand visibility and drive sales. This role requires a deep understanding of local market dynamics, cultural nuances, and consumer behavior to craft compelling experiences that resonate. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand activation strategies aligned with business objectives and local market insights.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute experiential events, sampling programs, and digital activations that enhance brand engagement.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of activation projects.
- Collaborate with sales, trade, and distribution teams to integrate activation initiatives with overall go‑to‑market plans.
- Partner with local agencies, influencers, and community organizations to amplify reach and relevance.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Prepare detailed post‑activation reports and present findings to senior leadership.
Required Skills
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into creative activation concepts.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics software.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep cultural awareness of Somali consumer preferences and market trends.
- Negotiation and vendor management expertise.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in brand management or digital marketing are highly desirable.
Experience
At least five years of proven experience in brand activation, experiential marketing, or related fields within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Prior experience working in East Africa or emerging markets is a strong advantage.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 12,000,000 to SSP 18,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
