Job Overview

The Digital Transformation Program Manager will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of UNDP’s digital initiatives across Somalia. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with UNDP’s development goals in Somalia.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to design, pilot, and scale digital solutions, including data platforms, mobile applications, and e‑government services.

Education

A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related discipline is required. Specialized certifications in digital transformation, project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), or data analytics are considered an asset.

Experience

Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in digital transformation, program management, or related fields, preferably within international development, government, or large‑scale NGOs. Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams and delivering technology‑enabled solutions in challenging environments is essential.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional allowances and benefits are provided in line with UNDP’s compensation framework.
