Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Fintech Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of digital payment solutions tailored for Somalia’s evolving financial ecosystem. This role will drive product innovation, user engagement, and strategic partnerships to enhance financial accessibility for underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute product roadmaps for digital payment platforms, prioritizing user-centric features and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to deliver secure, intuitive fintech solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Manage partnerships with local financial institutions and mobile money providers to expand service reach.
- Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations and international fintech standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in fintech product management, with a focus on digital payments or mobile money platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of Somalia’s financial landscape and regulatory environment.
- Fluency in English and Somali preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CFA) are advantageous.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in fintech, product management, or financial services.
- Experience in cross-border payment systems or mobile money platforms.
Salary
