Job Overview
As a Geospatial Data Analyst at CGI Group Inc., you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support business decision-making. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement geospatial solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

- Collecting and analyzing geospatial data from various sources
- Developing and implementing geospatial models and algorithms
- Creating interactive maps and visualizations to communicate results
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial solutions into business operations
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze geospatial data from various sources, including satellite imagery, GPS data, and other geospatial datasets
- Develop and implement geospatial models and algorithms to support business decision-making
- Create interactive maps and visualizations to communicate results to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial solutions into business operations
- Develop and maintain geospatial databases and data management systems
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in geospatial software and tools, including ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine
- Experience with programming languages, including Python, R, and SQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Technology or related field, such as Computer Science, Geography, or Environmental Science
Experience
5-7 years of experience in geospatial analysis, data science, or a related field
Salary
