Job Overview
The Hospitality Revenue Manager will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our Baidoa property. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic pricing and inventory management plans to maximize revenue across all distribution channels. You will analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to optimize room rates and occupancy levels. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of analytical prowess and strategic foresight. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR and ADR.
- Monitor market demand and competitor pricing to adjust rates dynamically.
- Analyze booking patterns and seasonal trends to optimize inventory allocation.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align promotional activities with revenue goals.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly revenue reports for the General Manager and regional stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and ensure rate parity across all platforms.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in revenue management software and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional strategic planning and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Deep understanding of the hospitality market dynamics in East Africa.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification in Revenue Management is highly preferred.
Experience
