The Hydrogen Production Engineer will lead the design, construction, and optimization of green hydrogen plants in Qandala and surrounding regions. Reporting to the Head of Renewable Energy Projects, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that hydrogen production meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering design of electrolyzers, storage systems, and distribution networks for green hydrogen production.
- Conduct site assessments, resource evaluations, and feasibility analyses to determine optimal plant locations.
- Develop detailed process flow diagrams, P&ID drawings, and technical specifications in compliance with international standards.
- Coordinate procurement, installation, and commissioning activities with vendors and contractors.
- Implement rigorous safety protocols, risk assessments, and environmental impact mitigation measures.
- Monitor plant performance, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrolysis technologies, hydrogen storage, and fuel cell systems.

- Ability to interpret and apply international codes and standards such as IEC 62282 and ISO 14687.

Education

Salary
The competitive salary range for this position is SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 3,500,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and allowances may also be offered.
