Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Industrial Automation Systems Engineer to join our specialized engineering team in Baidoa. This role is critical to our mission of optimizing manufacturing processes through sophisticated automation technologies. Key Responsibilities

- Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing industrial infrastructure for automation upgrades.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate robotic systems into production workflows.
- Perform regular system audits to ensure compliance with international safety and efficiency standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated machinery to minimize operational downtime.
- Develop detailed technical documentation for all new automation installations and system modifications.
Required Skills
- Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider Electric).
- Proficiency in SCADA and HMI configuration and management.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP.
- Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex electronic and mechanical systems.
- Excellent project management and technical documentation capabilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. Candidates with advanced certifications in industrial automation will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, specifically within a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting. Salary
