Job Overview
The Logistics Technology Integration Manager will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of digital platforms that connect freight operations, warehouse management, and customer interfaces. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, real‑time tracking, and predictive analytics that enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a technology integration roadmap aligned with regional logistics objectives.
- Lead the deployment of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and IoT sensors across Luuq and surrounding hubs.
- Coordinate with IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure system compatibility and data security.
- Analyze performance metrics, generate insights, and recommend process improvements.
- Train and mentor local staff on new digital tools and best practices.
- Maintain compliance with international trade regulations and local customs requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to enhance client experience through technology.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of logistics software platforms (TMS, WMS, ERP).
- Proficiency in data analytics, SQL, and API integrations.
- Project management expertise with a track record of delivering complex technology projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Somali is an advantage.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM, PMP, or ITIL are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five years’ experience in logistics operations combined with hands‑on involvement in technology integration projects. Prior experience in East African markets or emerging economies is a strong plus.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 3,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and allowances are also part of the compensation package.
