Job Overview

Job Title: Renewable Energy Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our team in Bosaso, Somalia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development and operation of our renewable energy projects in the region, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and operation of renewable energy projects in the region, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead a team of project engineers, technicians, and other support staff to ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with our company’s policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other project partners, to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with their requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with our company’s health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale renewable energy projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team of project engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other project partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy or related field.

Experience
