Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute rural electrification project plans aligned with national energy goals.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and community leaders to design and deploy solar microgrids.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and needs assessments for new electrification sites.
  • Build partnerships with local governments and international donors to secure funding and resources.
  • Provide technical training to communities on system maintenance and energy management.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in project management of energy infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and off-grid technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project budgeting, risk assessment, and reporting.
  • Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
  • Fluency in English and Somali.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

Salary
