Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Fleet Manager to oversee our complex transportation network in the Merca region. This role is critical to ensuring that our fleet of vehicles is maintained, optimized, and utilized to its maximum potential to meet strict delivery timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize vehicle routing and scheduling to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize fuel costs.
- Manage and supervise a large team of drivers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair schedules for the entire fleet to prevent operational downtime.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies for cost reduction and environmental sustainability.
- Ensure all fleet operations comply with local Somali transport laws and international logistics standards.
- Utilize telematics and GPS tracking systems to monitor vehicle movement and driver behavior in real-time.
Required Skills
- Advanced expertise in fleet management software and GPS tracking technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities in a high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance, mechanical systems, and logistics optimization.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications in Fleet Management or Logistics Operations are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics or transportation management, with at least 3 years in a senior supervisory role. Proven experience in managing large-scale vehicle fleets and diverse teams is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 6,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics. This competitive package reflects the high level of responsibility required for this critical role.
