Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Urban Planning Consultant to lead large-scale metropolitan development projects in Dhusamareeb. This role is critical for shaping the future of urban living in the region, focusing on sustainable land use, integrated transport systems, and resilient infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive master plans for emerging urban centers.
- Conduct detailed spatial analysis and demographic modeling to predict future infrastructure needs.
- Advise local authorities on zoning regulations, land tenure issues, and environmental impact mitigation.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and environmental scientists to ensure integrated design.
- Manage stakeholder engagement processes, including public consultations and government liaison.
- Oversee the implementation of smart city technologies to improve urban resource management.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and AutoCAD.
- Deep understanding of international urban planning standards and sustainable development goals.

Education
A Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. A PhD in Urban Design or Sustainable Development is highly preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in urban planning or infrastructure advisory is required. Proven experience working in developing economies or post-conflict reconstruction environments is a significant advantage. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 6,500,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical expertise. This package is competitive and reflects the seniority of the role.
