Job Overview

The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead the daily activities of DHL’s Xudun warehouse, overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and staff performance. This position is pivotal in ensuring that goods are handled safely, accurately, and on time, aligning with DHL’s global standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and training.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as order fulfillment rate, on‑time delivery, and cost per unit.
  • Collaborate with transportation, customs, and customer service teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on warehouse performance, capacity utilization, and improvement initiatives.

Education

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in an international logistics environment is highly preferred.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 Somali Shilling (SSP) per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives and benefits outlined below.
