Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry management efforts in the region.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify and address forestry management challenges.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform digital forestry management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and capacity building to local communities and stakeholders on digital forestry management.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital forestry management principles and practices.
  • Experience with digital mapping and spatial analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in Somali and English languages.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.

Experience

5-7 years of experience in digital forestry management or a related field.

Salary

50,000 – 70,000 SSP per month.
