We are seeking a Digital Forestry Management Specialist to join our team in Garowe, Somalia. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry management efforts in the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry management efforts in the region.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify and address forestry management challenges.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform digital forestry management strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
- Provide training and capacity building to local communities and stakeholders on digital forestry management.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of digital forestry management principles and practices.
- Experience with digital mapping and spatial analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Somali and English languages.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
Experience
5-7 years of experience in digital forestry management or a related field.
Salary
50,000 – 70,000 SSP per month.
