Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure infrastructure solutions that are resilient, secure, and cost‑effective.
• Implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates to streamline provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct capacity planning, and optimize resource usage to meet service level agreements.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance with local regulations and Microsoft’s security standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud‑related incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
• Conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions and workshops for local IT staff and customers to promote best practices.
• Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for cloud workloads.
• Stay current with emerging Azure services and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and Identity Management.
• Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Somali or Arabic is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
