Job Overview
The Senior Cybersecurity Forensic Investigator will play a critical role in our Baidoa operations, leading complex investigations into high-stakes security breaches and digital intrusions. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can navigate the intricacies of digital evidence, malware analysis, and network forensics to reconstruct sophisticated cyberattacks. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital forensic investigations into complex security incidents and unauthorized network intrusions.
- Perform deep-dive malware analysis to understand the behavior and intent of malicious software.
- Reconstruct attack timelines by analyzing logs from firewalls, servers, and endpoint devices.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all forensic evidence is collected and preserved according to international standards.
- Develop and implement advanced detection methodologies to identify new patterns of malicious activity.
- Provide expert testimony and detailed technical reports for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in digital forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, or Magnet AXIOM.
- Expert-level knowledge of network protocols, operating system internals, and file system structures.
- Strong ability to interpret complex data sets to identify anomalous patterns and indicators of compromise (IoCs).
- Exceptional technical writing skills for producing high-quality forensic reports.
- Deep understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and advanced persistent threat (APT) tactics.

Education
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a closely related technical field. A Bachelor’s degree with significant specialized experience may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Experience
