Job Overview
Job Vacancy in Somalia
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Forestry Conservation Specialist to join our team in Galkayo, Somalia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our conservation efforts in Somalia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, conservation, and digital technologies. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support conservation efforts in Somalia
- Work with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop and implement conservation plans
- Conduct field research and data collection to inform conservation efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
- Provide training and capacity building to local communities and government agencies
Required Skills
- Strong background in environmental science, conservation, and digital technologies
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
